At a time when many single make series are struggling for numbers its nice to report on a specialist manufacturer who sometimes has too many cars for the grid!! Sheffield based Ginetta has been making road racing sports cars for almost 50 years and regularly has 40 plus racers turning up for the Ginetta Challenge which leads to knock out rounds to get to the final grid. In 2005 the Ginetta Challenge is the UK’s biggest one make race series.

Cars in the Ginetta Challenge run on Mintex M1166 and M1155 pads with a few also on M1144; all made by TMD Friction Hartlepool and distributed by leading Mintex Racing distributor Questmead Ltd. These compounds provide an excellent brake at a cost effective price.
